Around 12:00 to 12:30, you'll be warmly welcomed aboard LE JOURNEY LUXURY CRUISE after a brief tender transfer from the harbor. As you step on board, savor a refreshing welcome drink while our cruise captain and crew provide a short briefing about the cruise and essential safety instructions.




The cruise sets sail between 12:30 and 13:00, taking you through the mesmerizing landscapes of Ha Long and Lan Ha Bay, two of the New Seven Nature Wonders of the World. Throughout its 300-year history, Saigon served as the capital of the French colony of Indochina and later the independent republic of South Vietnam. After the war, the city was officially renamed Ho Chi Minh City in honor of President Ho Chi Minh. Today, this urban hub exudes modernity while maintaining its strong ties to the past, where ancient pagodas and French-inspired buildings coexist harmoniously.




Our journey commences at 08:00, heading towards Cu Chi. As we leave the bustling city behind, immerse yourself in the tranquil countryside scenery, passing rice paddy farms, charming roadside vendors, and lush green landscapes.




Upon arrival at Cu Chi, we embark on a fascinating tour of the Cu Chi Tunnels, an intricate underground network comprising hideouts, sleeping quarters, meeting rooms, hospitals, and the Hoang Cam Stove. These narrow tunnels, originally built to resist the enemy during wartime, now offer visitors a glimpse into the past. Witness how the mere 10–13 feet (3–4 m) thick level of upper soil could withstand the weight of a 55-ton (50 mT) tank and the destructive force of bombs. An insightful film about the wartime experience sets the context before we explore the tunnel's trap doors and underground quarters.
